I will try to keep the journal as current as possible, but there will usually be some delay before a page is published. It takes a little time to get each page ready and a little bandwidth to get the pictures uploaded. I am particularly at the mercy of bad internet connections, so don't expect immediate uploads. This will be particularly true when we are in Canada, where we will only use the Verizon card in an emergency. Verizon no longer offers a Canadian data plan, and it costs $2 a megabte. Yes, I said megabyte, not gigabyte.
About my Travel Blog
Welcome to our travel journal. Here I will try to capture the story of our travels. I started the journal in 2009, but did not keep it up for a couple trips in 2010, so there is a big gap. Some day I may go back and fill in the gaps, but in the mean time I wanted to be sure to capture our 2011 Alaska trip.
